You may know by now that I’m all about good neutrals and this look fits the bill. I loved the mink shade of this a-line mini skirt immediately since it pairs so well with a variety of hues. The price (under $25) is what made me add it to my cart without hesitation despite the usual skepticism of faux leather. Once it came in the mail I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and fit – supple “leather” in a slim fit that opens to a slight flare. I plan on pairing it with over-the-knee boots as the weather turns colder and strappy sandals and a blouse come spring. Bonus: it actually comes in eight different colors directly on the New Look site.
I also want to take a minute to talk about this sweater, which is easily my most worn. The classic J. Crew tippi is offered in nearly every color and has the perfect fit. It’s slim enough to be flattering tucked in, fitted through the arms so as not to add bulk, dressy enough to wear to the office, and casual enough to wear with jeans. Save yourself time and just order five to ten colors right from the start.
